Battuta is a boundaryless group whose music travels farther than any map could hold. Inspired by cultures, languages, and rhythms from across the globe, Battuta creates soundscapes that blend genres seamlessly—where Afrobeat meets electronic, where Latin melodies flow into Middle Eastern harmonies, and where lyrics shift effortlessly between languages.

BAttuta

Every track is a journey, a passport stamped with love & identity. Belonging to all of us. Our mission is to prove that music is a universal language, even when the words change. Through collaboration, experimentation, and a deep respect for global traditions, Battuta crafts songs that connect people beyond borders—inviting listeners to explore the world, one sound at a time.

"Music has not borders, language has no limits."

Cygos

Countless nights spent gaming and listening to electronic music fueled his dream of creating futuristic sounds. His passion evolved into serious pursuits—experimenting with beats, mastering sound design, and exploring how mood and rhythm can narrate stories.

If I can reinvent myself so can you.

He is a passionate guy who lights up when discussing music, games, or sci-fi. He appreciates the small details, like rain sounds & nostalgic songs. He loves EDM music for its emotional depth and dreams of becoming a sound engineer for a gaming studio, blending his passions into an exciting future.

Music is the only true universal language, before math, science, or writing there was music.

Music is the only true universal language, before math, science, or writing there was music.

- DJ Donnie

I’m DJ Donnie, and music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was first introduced to EDM when I was walking to MDC campus one day and i heard summer by Calvin Harris - it showed me a world of sound I had never experienced before. What started as curiosity quickly became passion, and over time that passion turned into love for the craft itself.

It wasn’t just the beats or the energy—it was the feeling that music could connect people who had never met, across cultures and languages. That idea stayed with me and pushed me deeper into learning, creating, and understanding the art.

I’ve never chased fame. For me, success isn’t measured by charts or crowds, but by impact. If a track I make can change one person’s day, lift someone’s mood, or help them through a hard moment, then I know I’ve done something meaningful with my life.

Lars Svendsen

Lead Vocals · Primary Songwriter · Founder

Lars is the heart and soul of Knights of Lazarus—the spark that brought the band to life. He moves through the world like someone who’s seen the worst and somehow found a way to keep going. After his old band fell apart and he spent years in quiet reflection, Lars started KOL on the idea that not everyone gets rescued; some have to find their own way back. His lyrics are raw and honest, almost like whispered truths in a broken church—touching on death, starting over, guilt, battles with faith, and the inner struggles we all face before anything else.

Lyra Vance

Keys, Synths & Vocals

Lyra is the classical soul with an edge. She grew up training at the conservatory, mastering her craft with precision and drama, but eventually she swapped the polished world of symphony halls for the wild energy of metal—and never regretted it. She’s the one behind KOL’s haunting choirs, urgent strings, and those cathedral-like piano moments that turn their music from powerful rock into something almost legendary. On stage, Lyra is mesmerizing—her steady gaze and soaring vocals bring balance to Lars’s raw grit. When the lights go down, she’s the creative force shaping the band’s visuals, from stage colors and wardrobe to album art and symbolism. She’s not just a musician; she’s a heartbeat of KOL’s style.

Adrian Krane

Lead & Rhythm Guitar

Adrian is the understated genius who quietly shapes KOL’s melodic sound. Though he started out with classical guitar, he eventually traded in tradition for gritty distortion and dreamy atmospheres. Adrian is the one who takes Lars raw, emotional ideas and turns them into something powerful and unforgettable. His guitar solos aren’t flashy interruptions—they’re the glue that holds the songs together. With a dry sense of humor and a knack for detail, he keeps the band grounded, especially when creative differences flare up. And if a piece of gear fails during a show, Adrian’s the guy who’ll calmly fix it in the middle of a song, never missing a beat.

Viktor Hale

Drums & Percussion

Viktor is the driving force and backbone of the band. His precise, double-kick drumming sets the rhythm for every KOL record—he plays with intention, never wasting a beat. One of three brothers he is the middle child. He looks tough behind the drum kit, but when the show ends, he retreats to solitude quietly enjoying varies hobbies. Viktor doesn’t talk much, but whenever he does, everyone in the band stops to listen.

Mateo Ortiz

Atmosphere & Production

Mateo is the band's spiritual wildcard. He doesn't say much during interviews—he'd rather let his electrifying solos and dreamy soundscapes do the talking. His guitar is almost sacred to him, and he often gets lost in spontaneous jams on stage, leaving the crowd hanging in awe. When he's not playing, Mateo is on the hunt in local pawn shops, searching for unique pedals to help shape his powerful, unmistakable sound. Adrian brings unwavering strength, while Mateo adds a mysterious, smoky vibe. Together, they create the haunting, "holy ruin" atmosphere that makes Knights of Lazarus unforgettable.

What gives them their personality is the balance between celebration and sincerity. Their songs are upbeat and stylish, but there is usually a sense of story underneath — romance, ambition, cultural pride, heartbreak, and the desire to keep moving forward. Visually, the band leans into warm tropical fashion, gold accents, ocean-inspired imagery, and a polished editorial look that fits both magazine spreads and music videos. Onstage, they carry an easy confidence: Mati plays the charismatic frontman, Bella commands attention with elegance and emotion, and Zee brings the calm, cool presence that makes the group feel grounded. The result is a band that feels vibrant, approachable, and ready-made for the modern Latin music scene.

Los Mambises

Blending salsa, reggaeton, merengue, Caribbean rhythm, and tropical pop, the group has developed a sound that feels both familiar and modern — the kind of music made for dance floors, beach nights, family parties, and late drives through the city. Mati brings the smooth Cuban-Caribbean charm, Bella adds a polished Brazilian vocal presence with emotional depth, and Zee grounds the group with a relaxed Rastafarian soul and rhythmic instinct. Together, they come across less like a manufactured act and more like three artists who naturally found the same groove.

Rajan Bali-Bali

Rajan Bali-Bali is a 25-year-old DJ and producer from New Delhi who has built his name on mystery, taste, and ambition. Quiet in public and intensely private about his personal life, Rajan has developed a reputation as a foreboding but magnetic presence in the music scene. He is the kind of artist who says less than everyone else in the room, but when he speaks, people listen. Raised in a city where old and new India constantly collide, Rajan grew up surrounded by devotional sounds, street noise, film music, wedding percussion, international radio, and the fast-changing pulse of urban youth culture. Over time, that mix shaped his vision: he wanted to help carve out a space where Western-style EDM, rap, hip hop, and other global genres could thrive in the Indian hemisphere without losing cultural identity or local soul.

Music is my gift and so I shall wield it as it is my destiny.

As an artist, Rajan is deeply committed to musical diversity. He is not interested in copying Western trends outright; he wants to reinterpret them through Indian energy, aesthetics, and collaboration. In the studio, he is known for being meticulous, patient, and highly intuitive, with a sharp ear for texture, rhythm, and atmosphere. He enjoys working with artists from different backgrounds, especially those bold enough to blur genres and challenge expectations. Though his image can seem intimidating, people who work closely with him often describe him as thoughtful, disciplined, and unexpectedly supportive. Rajan believes music should travel across language, class, and region, and he sees himself not just as a performer, but as a builder of bridges between scenes, sounds, and audiences.

Solanu

DJ / Producer / Songwriter / Sound Designer

I stand by “Musica Invicta” — music unconquered. Music is not bound by genre, key, tone, mood, tempo, or tradition. Whether I am creating house, EDM, progressive house, country, or folk, I believe the same truth remains: music cannot be conquered. It survives every age, every culture, every language, and every change in the world. Music belongs to all of us, yet somehow, each of us can still make it our own. Before we had cities, before we understood money, before humanity built walls and crowns and machines, we had rhythm. We had the sound of hands against stone, voices in the night, feet moving around fire, and hearts beating in time with something greater than ourselves. I believe cooking may have been humanity’s first art, feeding the body with warmth and care. But music was the second — feeding the spirit, giving shape to emotion, memory, grief, joy, and hope.

My passion for music comes from that ancient fire. I create because I believe art is one of the purest ways a person can prove they are alive. Creativity is not something everyone feels naturally every day. Sometimes it has to be protected, practiced, discovered, and fought for. To be creative at all is an art in itself. It is a gift, and those who carry it should never take it lightly. Through my music, I want to remind people to follow whatever passion lives inside them. It does not have to be music. It can be painting, writing, cooking, dancing, building, storytelling, or any craft that lets the soul speak. If you have the desire to create, then you already carry something powerful. My goal is to honor that gift in myself and awaken it in others — because the creative flame, once found, is unconquerable.

The world revolves around the Sun, Music revolves around the world therefore I must become the Sun.

Through layered production, poetic lyricism, and a focus on emotional depth, the collective crafts experiences that resonate beyond sound alone. Velvet X invites listeners to slow down, feel deeply, and embrace the beauty of vulnerability and desire through music.

Vera Arkhipov

DJ / Songwriter / Producer

Hey, I'm Vera Arkhipov, a DJ and producer from Belarus in my early twenties. Honestly, I feel way more at home in a packed basement than up on some massive festival stage. I grew up wandering gray streets, having deep late-night talks, and soaking up the underground scene—where I learned music doesn’t have to be perfect to hit hard. Before I ever touched the decks, I was scribbling poetry in my notebooks, out way later than I should’ve been, chasing that rush you get from a bassline that rattles your chest.

My sound floats somewhere between super emotional and totally wild. Trap and trance are my favorites, but I’ll spin anything raw, hypnotic, and full of life. I love small rooms because you really connect—everyone’s sweating, laughing, shouting lyrics, losing themselves. DJing isn’t about showing off for me; it’s about creating a moment that feels real. I have a thing for painters, writers, and quirky creative people.

What makes me feel real is all the contradictions. I live for chaos but I’m super thoughtful. I dig the gritty side of nightlife, but I notice little bits of beauty most people miss. I’m ambitious but never pretend I’ve got it all figured out. I try to stay confident without losing my soft side, and I rebel without going hollow. Underneath the heavy bass, the black clothes, and the whole nightlife vibe, I really believe music can say what words sometimes can’t. That’s why I keep coming back to DJing. Electric music isn’t just sound for me—it’s the place where all the parts of who I am finally fit together.

My dreams are my way - and my way is full of life.

While the orchestra is built on classical music, it’s not afraid to try new things. The group mixes classic orchestral sounds with styles like rock, EDM, and movie music, making their performances feel fresh but still timeless. This approach draws in all kinds of listeners. The orchestra believes that music should change and grow with its players, giving young musicians the freedom to try new sounds while still learning the basics of classical music.

Wiskey LEdger

Whiskey Ledger is a country collective built on story, soul, and the kind of truth you only find at the end of a long road. Blending pop country, southern rock, folk, and gospel roots, the group brings together three distinct voices that feel less like bandmates and more like chapters in the same American story. Their music lives somewhere between front porch conversations, late-night bar confessions, and Sunday morning redemption—where every lyric feels earned and every chorus feels like it belongs to the listener. At the heart of Whiskey Ledger is John Acers, a Tennessee-raised singer shaped by pop and rock country, whose voice carries themes of family, unity, and pride.

Alongside him is Melanie Hill, a South Texas firecracker with a choir-born foundation and a magnetic personality—equal parts sweetness and wild spirit, with an old soul that comes alive after a drink or two. Rounding out the trio is Rick Donahue, the group’s seasoned storyteller from Georgia, whose journey through the Rust Belt and New Orleans—guided by his father’s life as a traveling preacher—gives him a voice steeped in folk, soul, and lived experience. Together, backed by a dedicated team behind the scenes, Whiskey Ledger isn’t just a band—it’s a living archive of stories, memories, and music meant to be shared like a song around a campfire.

Meet our Designers

Get introduced to our designers and learn about their main tasks and goals.

John Acers

I was raised in Tennessee, where music was always playing somewhere—on the radio, in the truck, or out on a porch as the sun went down. I grew up on pop country and southern rock, and those sounds stuck with me because they felt real. They talked about life the way I saw it—family, hard work, pride in where you come from. Becoming a father only deepened that for me. It gave me something bigger to write about, something that grounds every song I sing. With Whiskey Ledger, I try to bring that sense of home into everything we do. I’m not chasing anything flashy—I just want to make music that people can hold onto. Songs that remind you who you are, who you love, and why it all matters. If someone hears my voice and it feels familiar, like something they’ve known their whole life, then I’ve done my job.

Melanie Hill

I grew up in South Texas with four sisters, so life was always loud, busy, and full of personality. Music was a big part of that, especially in church—I started out singing in the choir, learning how to use my voice and really feel what I was singing. But as I got older, I realized I wanted more. I wanted the stage, the lights, the connection. Country music felt like home, so I went all in. People usually meet me and say I’ve got a lot of energy—and that’s true, I do. I love to laugh, I love to have a good time, and I’ll probably be the one pulling you out onto the dance floor. But there’s another side to me too. After a few drinks, I get reflective… a little older in spirit than I let on. That’s where my music really lives—in that balance between fun and feeling. With Whiskey Ledger, I get to be both, and that’s exactly who I am.

Rick Donahue

I’m from Georgia, but I’ve spent most of my life moving from place to place. My father was a traveling preacher, so growing up meant a lot of miles, a lot of towns, and a whole lot of stories. I listened more than I talked back then, and somewhere along the way, I started turning those stories into songs. Folk and soul music found me early, and they never really let go. Life took me through the Rust Belt for a time, and I even called New Orleans home for a while. Every place left something with me—different sounds, different people, different truths. I’m the oldest and I guess I carry a bit of that road with me. I like hearing people’s stories, the real ones, and finding a way to pass them on. When I sing, I want it to feel like you’re sitting around a fire, hearing something that’s been told a hundred times—but still matters every single time.
